Personal Training FAQ

Do you only train moms?
While the focus of Optimom Fitness is moms, I enjoy working with anyone who is concerned about optimal health, energy levels and looking their best.  My experience includes working with both men and women, kids and no kids. 

What geographic region does Optimom Fitness serve?
Currently, personal training is available to clients in the northern suburbs of Dallas, Texas, including Frisco, Plano, Allen, McKinney, North Dallas, and other neighboring communities.

Where will training sessions be conducted?
Training sessions will be conducted in your home. In-home training enables you to maximize your time, exercise in a comfortable, private environment, and avoid the additional cost of gym membership dues.  

How long are the training sessions?
The typical personal training session is 50 minutes in length. 

How frequent are the training sessions?
Optimom Fitness offers a variety of personal training packages to serve the unique needs of each client. The number of training sessions per week varies per client and will be a function of your needs and goals. Some clients choose two to three training sessions per week, while other clients may prefer to train with me just once a week.

What time of day are the training sessions?
During the Wellness Evaluation, we'll determine a training schedule that fits your lifestyle. I understand that clients are busy with kids, carpools and family schedules - but we'll carve out a time in your busy day to make exercise the top priority.

What types of clients do you work with?
Every client is unique. Training sessions will be individualized based on fitness level. Whether you are a beginner just getting started or a fitness enthusiast looking to take your workout to the next level, I'll develop a personalized program focused on your goals and skill level. 

Do I need my own equipment?
No! We'll incorporate a variety of fitness tools to keep your workout fun, challenging and innovative. If you have a home gym, or maybe just a few dumbbells, we'll look for new ways to take advantage of your existing equipment, plus integrate additional tools that I'll bring. If you're just getting started and have nothing, no problem - I'll provide everything you need to get an outstanding workout.

Do you only offer one-on-one training?
While I most often work with clients one-on-one, training sessions also are available for couples and other small groups (recruit a friend or two and have fun getting fit together!).
